Exminster Victory Hall Trust are hosting a street party for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee on Exminster Main Road on Sunday June 5th 2022. Book your tickets NOW.
The idea is simple: a £20 reservation gets you one table that will comfortably seat 6 people. You then bring the rest – food, drink, chairs, decorations, games, the choice is yours! If you want to bring a larger party you can make multiple bookings and we can combine tables.
The Street Party opens at 12 noon, with the bell for lunch to begin ringing at 1pm. After this, you can stay for as long as you like, enjoying good company and entertainment until closing time at 8pm.
There will be a prize for the best decorated table, so please do let your imagination run wild – you can go with the Platinum Jubilee theme, or alternatively you could decorate your table for World Environment Day that also takes place on June 5th. Here are the instructions and template on how to create your own coronation crown and the instructions and template to make your own ‘bunting’ biscuits.
If you have attended an Exminster Long Table event in the past then you’ll know what a fun event this will be. After a tough couple of years there is surely no better excuse for a good party, to celebrate the village and the Queen!
This event will run in accordance with any Covid regulations in place on June 5th. It is part of The Big Jubilee Lunch, and is being generously supported by grants from Exminster Parish Council, Cllr Alan Connett (Devon County Locality Budget) and Cllr Charles Nuttall (Teignbridge Councillors’ Community Fund).
